Body Cleanse Clearing Kriya

A variation of the body clearing kriya to strengthen the heart and auric field, encourage lymphatic flow, and improve digestion; this is a short practice to start or end your day.

You’ll move through three simple movements in this sequence.

1. Arm Circles with Index Finger Extended

2. Sufi Grinds Seated with Hands Behind Head

3. Sea Saw Arms with Thumb Tucked

BENEFITS OF THE KRIYA:

  • Creates calm in the body/mind energy.

  • Encourages digestion and release.

  • Strengthens the heart and auric field.

  • Targets index finger to work with the lung/large intestine meridian.

  • Lessens the emotions of worry and sadness/grief.

  • Enhances the nervous and endocrine systems.

You’ll use the breath of fire (BOF) for the duration of this kundalini sequence. It is an invigorating pranayama, perhaps not for menstruating, pregnant, or feeling hot or excited.

How to do BOF:

Sharp inhales and exhales through the nose, pumping the belly.

  • Build heat inside your body

  • Encourage digestion/assimilation
