When I was small, seven or eight, I planted a geranium at my grandmother’s house.
It had twenty blooms last year, she said. I bring it in every winter.
The geranium is thirty years old. Thirty-one, maybe.
This is the effect of complete attention: what blossoms when we dedicate ourselves to one thing.
One habit.
Complete attention releases one from the unconscious patterns.
You need not do anything.
Remember this: gradually pay attention to what is in front of you right now.
Pay attention; time is a construct.
Choose one thing to do daily.
And allow the geranium leaves to bloom.
