ā€œWhatever you can do or dream you can begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.ā€
— Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

I have been in Arizona for one week.

Today marks my transition from rainforest to desert. I mopped the floors, moved my writing desk, saged my bedroom, placed Ganesha, and read the astrology for the Libra Full Moon.

A devotional aspect blooms with spring: witness this manifestation of life.

Warmth in flavour, texture, tone, and tongue; how will you bring beauty to the world around you?

Incident informs the arrangement.

My energetic arrival is prone to lollygagging. I need touchpoints to settle. Elsewise, I’m that moth trapped in the lampshade. When I get too close to the source, I sizzle. I unwind through the quiet moonlight that pours through my window. I moved my bed into the corner where my body could bask in the cold glow. Metal and rock: the alchemy of experience is seen in the stars.

I discover a deep release through sweeping. Clearing dirt from corridors is one way to resolve conflict. The dishes steam with the unspoken synonyms I long to scream at my antagonists.

Ganesha sits on my windowsill (recently scrubbed) with palms toward the mountains. Facing North is a gesture of correct orientation, firmness in resolution, and moving forward with a plan.

Musings on the Full Moon:
(from YOGA HOROSCOPE)

I seek symmetry in my body;
my actions inform space.

My commitment is to strengthen my heart. Resilience is the philosophical discernment of the soul.

I offer myself to poetic arrangement through word, sound, and movement.

I experience beauty as a Starseed, a seeker who turns metal into gold.
