For everything bad, there’s a million really exciting things, whether it’s someone puts out a really great book, there’s a new movie, there’s a new detective, the sky is unbelievably golden, or you have the best cup of coffee you ever had in your life.
— Patti Smith.

Facts are fixed.

Feelings are evanescent.

All that is fleeting will never be a fact, though I question the validity of facts over feelings.

Facts are formed. Described. Prescriptive. Hypothesized. Tested.

Feelings are subjective, innate, unusual, confusing, upsetting, intense.

On the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, President Joe Biden stated, “When, in God's name, will we do what we all know in our gut needs to be done?” — Source.

Is the thing in the gut a fact or a feeling?
