Join Seraphina for a session to explore the six perfections (Paramitas) from Mahayana Buddhism and how they apply to the creative process.
This event includes a lecture on the paramitas, the difference between speaking and talking, how it affects the written word, and the time to craft your own content. Participants will be invited to write a poem, prose piece, or paragraph based on any of the six paramitas or themes from the lecture.
This event is for you to:
Learn about the six perfections (paramitas),
Discover how to apply the paramitas to your creative life,
Express yourself through the curation of poetry, prose, or paragraph,
Develop an awareness of how writing affects the worlds we create.
Craft your own piece that resonates based on a theme.
