spiritual quest

Your practices this week are designed to inspire the light within as the supermoon lights up the sky.

I’m featuring the energy lock to wash your heart with laughter. If you want to learn how to do it, it's in the Sadhana replay.

The Purna Sadhana Replay is live and will be available for 72 hours!

Your Purna Sadhana includes:

  • Mantra and movement to send a blessing

  • Sacred gestures for the heart

  • Energy Locks from Jin Shin Jyutsu

  • Lecture on abundance, nourishment, and heart energy

I’ve finished listening to Charlotte’s Web.

It is riddled with philosophical aphorisms that I missed as a child.

One of the themes I was inspired by was the concept of Dharma ~ our spiritual quest or duty in this lifetime.

When Wilber discovers that Charlotte eats flies, he’s horrified. In response, Charlotte says that she must live; no one provides her three meals daily.

Plus, without spiders, the abundance of insects would ruin the crops.

I eat anything that’s careless enough to get caught in my web.

This interaction made me realize that I have been the spider and the fly: one who performs their duty and one who is careless.

I can live according to universal laws and create a magnificent, glittery web that provides shelter, nourishment, and community.

Or, I can live as the fly caught in the web that someone else has taken the time to spin.

The concept of choice is interesting as I never feel that there is one.

The truth is so innately alive within me that there is no room for indecisiveness or carelessness.

I know the correct thing to do—I feel it in my bones—and to not act accordingly would be a lie.

It’s a relief and a burden all at once.

As Charlotte says, I must live!

May you wash your heart with laughter,
Seraphina

The employment of the Divine Attention. "Attention" is a word derived from the Latin root, meaning "to reach out; to stretch out," and so the act of Attention is really a mental "reaching out; extension" of mental energy, so that the underlying idea is readily understood when we examine into the real meaning of "Attention.”
